Recollection Is One Of The Memorable Moments That I Never Forgot. As We Go To Calangcang, To The 74 IB Camp We’re So Excited What Place It Should Be. We Rode To A Tricycle In Going There. After We Rode Out We Walk Some Meters Away From The Road And Goes To The Camp. The Officer Of Infantry Battalion Gives Us A Warm Welcome And Accepts Us Wholeheartedly. When We Are In The Camp We Feel We’re In Tagaytay Because The Scenery, The Climate And The Essence Of Natural Beauty Of The Environment Is Just Like The Same. Even Though I Have Some Hesitation To Go Because Of The Possible Danger Might Be Happen There I Finally Decided To Go. With The Help Of My Prayer We Arrived Safely In The Area. The First Part Of Our Activities Was The Tree Planting. We’ve Planted Mahogany/ Mango Trees. One Trees For Two Persons So We Contributed/ Planted Almost 30 Numbers Of Trees. We Are Glad We Have Contributed That Much To The Environment Through These Simple Things. After The Tree Planting, We Rest For A While And Prepare Ourselves For Our Recollection Leaded By Rev. Fr. Eric Baretto. Before Father Eric Arrives We Watch The Movies Prepared By Mam Ading In Order Us To Inspire How To Become A Teacher. The Recollection Is Not That Boring Because Father Was Very Alive And Sometimes A Joker. His Preach Consumed A Long Hour. I Learned From Our Recollection The Different Things We Need In Order To Be A Successful Person. Father Said The Formula For Success And Our Importance/Purpose While Living In This World. We Do Some Reflection Also About Some Successful People And Their Influence To Our Life. After The Introductory Speech Of Father We Eat Our Lunch Together Through “Budol Fight” On The Leaves Of The Banana. After The Whole Discussion, We Leave The Place Safe With A Smile On Our Face.
NARRATIVE REPORT
I expected so much in my practice teaching. I expect that being a practice teacher, I will be guided by my resource teacher so that I will become good in teaching and I will get more strategies from them.
When I entered here in Mulanay Central School and was assigned to Ms. Rhona Saronicman, I was scared because I thought she was strict but I was wrong. She is kind and joker. I admire her. Even if she’s busy and not always there to see me how to teach and handle her students, she always said “Lagi akong wala, pero bibisitahin at kukumustahin kita kung ano nang nangyayari sa inyo. Text ka lang kung may tatanong ka at kung may kailangan ka. Huwag kang mahihiya.” I’m so touched to her because she’s willing to help and guide me even if she is busy. In short, “hindi niya ako pinabayaan sa lahat ng oras, sa lahat ng bagay”.
In my second practice teaching, I was assigned to Mrs. Helen R. Tagle. The first time I met her, I was so glad that she’s always smiling. You can’t see her stressed of being a teacher. I admired her, too. I want to be like her because even if she’s busy on her paper works, she can do multitasking. She is a kind person, she never hurt her pupils. But sometimes, when she’s talking in the front of them, she hurt her students but I understand her “kasi kahit sinong teacher, makakasakit paminsan minsan lalo na kung yung mga learners ay hyper active na.”
The unforgettable moment that I experienced here was some teachers said that I always sitting, always writing on the board and never teach. For me, its hurts because I did my best to do my best to share my knowledge in my learners then I heard that words? Starting that day, I’m scared to take a sit. “Kaya natatawa na lang ako kapag sinasabi ng C.T ko o ng ibang teachers na, Nene, upo ka muna, mangangalay ka niyan at saka lang ako umuupo kapag sinasabi nila.”
When I handle the grade IV-RBS and grade III-HRT, I’m so lucky because even if some of them are hyper active, I’m so glad because all of them listen to me and they respected me as their teacher and also a big sister. Even if I’m so tired, “mapapangiti ka na lang kasi the students are so sweet, nakakatanggal ng stress.”
If I would rate my cooperating teachers, they are excellent because I learned a lot from them. I learned how to control the learners and myself. They made me realized that “Hindi kailangan na turo ka lang ng turo, dapat may kasamang PUSO sa pagtuturo. Dapat you understand the situations and feelings of your learners.” Dapat makuha mo yung loob nila para makisama sila at hindi ka mahirapan sa pagtuturo. And if I will rate myself, I am very satisfactory because I know myself better. I know that I’m improving because of my cooperating teachers and because of the other teachers. Mrs. Marigosio, Mrs. Imperial, Mrs. Ampeloquio, Mrs. Prieto, Mrs. Nancy Baronia, Mrs. Pineda, Mrs. Bariata, Mrs. Robles, Sir Roadilla and Sir Malijana. All of them were a very nice teachers. They share their ideas and experiences in teaching. I got strategies on how to handle different kind of learners and I got advice from them.
And to our dear principal. She always calls for a meeting if she didn’t want what she observed in her school. She always wanted her school to be good and I want that attitude. For me, “Hindi namang masamang magpaalaala kasi sa ikabubuti nating lahat yun.” I understand her. And as a practice teacher, hindi maiiwasang mapagsabihan lalo na kung nakikitaan ng mali, and I accept it because I know that gusto lang ni Ma’am Cony na mapabuti kami at maging isang huwarang guro at may matutunan kami bago kami lumabas sa school na ito.
